Send this request from your website server after validating the form. Keep BELUGA_SITE_KEY in an encrypted server-side secret for each environment. Never put the key in browser JavaScript, HTML, or a public environment variable. The credential identifies the website, so the request does not include a site ID.
Connect an agent
Connect a server-side AI agent with the Streamable HTTP endpoint and the same site key used by your website server. Store the key in the MCP client’s private header or secret settings. The agent can verify this connection and submit enquiries for this website; it cannot read the Inbox, replace keys, change workspace settings, or access your repository or hosting account. A submission tool call creates a real record and may send email. Use Preview while testing and keep the key out of prompts and browser code.
Site credential
Beluga stores only a one-way hash, so an issued key cannot be viewed again. Replacing it immediately invalidates the old key. Update every hosting environment before testing.
After replacement, save the new key in your hosting provider as BELUGA_SITE_KEY for Preview and Production. The old value stops working immediately.
Copy this value now and save it in your hosting provider’s encrypted secrets. Beluga will not show it again.
